Why Sweet Tulip Photography Is Unique

Sweet Tulip Photography is a boutique business. This means you enjoy an amazing experience capturing family moments and come away with artwork that you absolutely love. Sweet Tulip Photography specializes in giving you and your family a memorable experience from start to finish.  From consultation to product delivery, your family's happiness is what matters. Your personalities will shine and your portraits will show it. Whether you choose albums or wall art, you'll be proud to pass them down from generation to generation.

As a boutique business, I provide in-person consultations to help you determine what kinds of artwork best suit your needs. This is ideally done in your home, not only so I can get a better sense of your personal taste, but also to more easily identify areas of your home that could use a personal touch. Whether it sparks conversation with guests in your living room or stirs up fond memories of time spent together, family portraits are a great way to add something truly unique to your home. Tips For Your Portrait Session

In case you have never done a professional photo session before, I wanted to give you some helpful tips for being able to get the images you want. First, clothing. You will want to wear either solid colors or simple patterns. Wearing a crazy floral print will not help the focus be on your face. If you are doing a couples or family photo shoot, try wearing color combinations that are neutral or complimentary. You can even pick one accent color that will really pop in the photos. For example, each person can choose one accessory or clothing item that is red for a Family Christmas Photo.

Second, young children. If you are doing a family photo shoot with young children it may take some imagination to get those genuine smiles you are hoping to capture. For babies, make sure they have eaten and taken a nap as close to the photo session time as possible. Bring any beloved toys if they are sentimental or are necessary to keep your children happy. For the slightly older kids, make sure there is something to look forward to so they are not just grinning and bearing it. Have fun during the photo session. Play with your kids. You are likely to get some wonderful candid shots if everyone is relaxed and having fun together.
